Hostess – Guest Services at Luxury Desert Resort

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the resort’s food and beverage outlets. You will welcome visitors, manage table reservations, guide guests to their seats and ensure a smooth flow of service, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet each guest warmly and make them comfortable while waiting for a table.
• Lead guests to their reserved or chosen tables and ensure a server is assigned.
• Handle guest inquiries, address service needs promptly, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist guests with disabilities or special requirements, including children.
• Provide accurate information about menu items, recommend pairings, and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain a clean and organized host station and monitor reservation systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a hospitality or front‑of‑house role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional, courteous demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Physical ability to assist guests with mobility needs.
