About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess who is fluent in Russian to join our front‑of‑house team at Aloft Dubai. The role involves greeting guests, managing seating, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, available table.
- Pull out chairs, place current menus, napkins, silverware and ensure proper table settings.
- Monitor dining area for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures and keep menus tidy and up‑to‑date.
- Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and coordinate seating for larger parties.
- Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Communicate clearly with guests and team members, answer telephone calls using proper etiquette, and support colleagues to achieve service standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior hospitality experience required.
