Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that all guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working on‑site at the Al Forsan resort in Abu Dhabi, you will coordinate housekeeping activities, liaise with other departments and support the daily operations of the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the front desk and next shift.
• Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues.
• Prepare, distribute and adjust room assignments as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and motivating staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance problems and hazards.
• Provide courteous guest service, assist guests with disabilities and uphold professional appearance standards.
• Perform physical duties such as lifting, moving carts and reaching overhead or below knee level.
• Use computer systems to enter and retrieve work‑related information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific licence or certification required.
