Hotel Security Officer

About the role

The Hotel Security Officer will join Jumeirah Group’s Security Department in Dubai, ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property. This full‑time position requires a proactive, service‑oriented individual who can act as the primary point of contact during emergencies and maintain a secure environment throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact in emergency situations.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols across the hotel premises.
• Follow all security policies and procedures consistently.
• Escalate fire, life‑safety, and other critical concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate daily entries in the security logbook.
• Manage lost‑and‑found inquiries and control access for colleagues and visitors.
• Issue supplier passes and oversee property removal with proper authorisation.
• Regulate traffic flow and prevent extended parking in critical areas.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a security or customer‑service role.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian or French are a plus.
• Enthusiastic approach to new tasks, responsible, and able to build effective relationships.
