Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑maintained, and fully stocked, delivering a high standard of service in line with EDITION’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts with supplies to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms, verify vacancy, replace amenities, linens, and terry items.
• Make beds, fold terry, clean bathrooms, and remove trash and used linens.
• Inspect room appliances for presence and proper operation.
• Straighten desk items, dust, polish surfaces, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and uphold guest confidentiality.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior housekeeping experience necessary.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 lb (assistance for heavier loads).
• Capability to push/pull a loaded cart over uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below knee level; stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
• Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for handling varied objects.
