Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean, tidy and fully stocked according to the brand’s standards. Working under the supervision of the housekeeping team, you will contribute to a pleasant and safe environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect keys and daily assignments, prepare the trolley and necessary equipment for efficient task performance.
• Clean and replenish guest rooms, following the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, adhering to safety and performance standards.
• Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Service to handle guest laundry, dry‑cleaning or pressing requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, service pantries and service areas.
• Report any maintenance‑related issues to the Engineering Department promptly.
• Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms, ensuring courteous service and satisfaction.
• Uphold environmental, health and safety standards in line with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow guidance from supervisors and adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Attention to detail when replenishing supplies and arranging guest belongings.
• Proactive in reporting maintenance issues.
