Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott Executive Apartments' high quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping staff, engineering, front office and laundry teams, the supervisor coordinates daily cleaning operations and resolves any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing‑guest room status.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, communicating changes to the next shift.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Complete required paperwork and safety training, reporting any maintenance problems or hazards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of housekeeping or supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to push/pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Comfort with standing, walking, kneeling and bending for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using computers or point‑of‑sale systems for work‑related information.
