Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead daily cleaning operations across guest floors and public areas of a luxury hotel in Dubai, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and supervise housekeeping staff to deliver prompt, courteous service to guests and internal departments.
• Inspect public areas and guest rooms, especially VIP rooms, to verify cleanliness, condition of furnishings, and compliance with hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other housekeeping sections and hotel departments to communicate room status, maintenance needs, and special requests.
• Assist in recruitment, performance management, training needs analysis, and delivery of monthly training sessions.
• Schedule routine inspections of occupied and vacant rooms and monitor usage of amenities and cleaning supplies against budget.
• Support implementation of procedures for Lost & Found, key control, security, emergency response, and health & safety.
• Perform additional tasks as required by hotel operations.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping department, preferably within a 5‑star hotel.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
