HR Business Partner – Automotive & Trading

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior line management within Al Futtaim’s automotive and trading divisions. The role focuses on aligning HR strategy with business growth, performance, meritocracy and diversity while ensuring compliance with Group policies and UAE labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy, succession plans and learning programmes in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Manage employee relations, drive engagement, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Partner with senior managers to coach, mentor and support change initiatives, workforce optimisation and organisational restructuring.
• Provide financial reporting on employee costs, lead annual manpower budgeting and support board‑level financial meetings.
• Oversee localisation (Emiratization) targets, monitor productivity and ensure compliance with localisation policy.
• Collaborate with the Group Training Department to deliver required training and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to HR internal controls, address policy breaches promptly and promote a culture of respect and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management; CIPD qualification is desirable.
• Minimum five years of HR Generalist experience, including time as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and change‑management capabilities.
