HR Manager (Compliance & Workforce Planning)

About the role

The HR Manager will lead compliance, workforce planning and employee lifecycle activities for the organization, ensuring alignment with UAE labour legislation and international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM and ISPS.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards and UAE labour legislation.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with business and legal requirements.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise management on impact.
• Lead manpower planning to meet current and future business needs.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and induction for shore‑based staff and support sea‑staff hiring.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, performance improvement and termination.
• Oversee the annual performance management process and employee reviews.
• Coordinate payroll preparation with Finance and ensure accurate salary payments.
• Administer employee benefits and maintain accurate HR records confidentially.
• Handle visa, work permit and immigration documentation in compliance with UAE requirements.
• Identify training needs, coordinate mandatory training and support career development initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the annual headcount budget and monitor HR expenditure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multi‑national environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and experience with ISO‑based compliance.
