HR Manager – MCV

About the role

The MCV HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function for DP World’s MCV business unit in Dubai, ensuring compliance with company policies, UAE labour legislation and international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM and ISPS. The role combines strategic manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations and payroll oversight to support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with legal and business requirements.
• Monitor changes in UAE labour legislation and advise management on impact.
• Lead manpower planning to meet current and future business needs.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection for shore‑based staff and support sea‑staff hiring.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction programmes and ensure staffing levels match approved budgets.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement and termination processes.
• Oversee the annual performance management cycle and employee performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Finance to prepare and approve payroll, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments.
• Administer employee benefits, visas, work permits and maintain accurate HR records.
• Identify training needs, coordinate mandatory training programmes and support career development initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the annual shore‑based headcount budget and monitor HR expenditure.
