HR Manager – UAE Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to independently lead the full HR function for our UAE operations. This stand‑alone position will manage the entire employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and develop HR systems and processes that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and HR administration.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve local HR policies, procedures and processes in line with UAE labour regulations.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: contracts, probation, attendance, leave, records, performance reviews and terminations.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment, support workforce planning and build a local talent pipeline.
• Handle employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinary cases and performance issues.
• Coordinate visa, work permit, residency and other immigration processes.
• Work with Finance and external providers on payroll inputs, benefits and compensation.
• Build and enhance the UAE HR framework and support cross‑regional HR coordination with Group headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of comprehensive HR experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, employment regulations and visa/immigration procedures.
• Proven hands‑on experience across recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management and HR operations.
• Experience as a stand‑alone HR Manager or building HR systems from the ground up is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
