HR Officer

About the role

The HR Officer will lead payroll processing, leave management and end‑of‑service settlements for a diverse workforce in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with UAE labour regulations while supporting employees on payroll‑related queries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for all staff, including wage calculation, tax deductions and direct deposits (WPS).
• Collect, review and validate employee timesheets and attendance data.
• Manage leave applications, generate leave reports and ensure timely payment of leave balances.
• Calculate and process end‑of‑service (EOS) settlements in accordance with UAE law.
• Maintain up‑to‑date payroll records, employee data and documentation.
• Conduct regular payroll audits and generate reports for management and financial analysis.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, leave and EOS matters.
• Stay current with changes to UAE labour laws, Emiratization and pension regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, leave management or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and payroll compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in generating accurate reports and performing audits.
