About the role

The HR Operations role at Thales in Abu Dhabi is responsible for delivering efficient, compliant and business‑focused HR services that enable strong organisational performance and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of core HR processes and the performance management cycle.
• Monitor HR process effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to policies, procedures and best practices.
• Provide data‑driven insights using HR metrics and people analytics to support business decisions.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees on policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions and corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law.
• Analyse employee engagement survey results, develop action plans and support initiatives to improve employee experience.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, inclusion, recognition and well‑being.
• Support Emiratization initiatives by developing strategies to attract, recruit and retain UAE nationals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations or generalist HR roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and company HR policies.
• Ability to handle employee relations cases and conduct investigations.
• Experience using HR metrics and people analytics to influence decisions.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills with managers and staff.
