HSSE Manager – Automotive – Dubai

About the role

The HSSE Manager will lead Health, Safety, Security and Environmental initiatives across Al Futtaim Automotive facilities in Dubai. You will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, drive continuous improvement, and support the achievement of international certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report HSSE hazards, aiming for a 65% increase in gap identification through regular inspections.
• Reduce preventable incidents by 45% by assigning corrective actions and implementing preventive measures.
• Conduct weekly site visits to inspect hazards and operational safety gaps.
• Audit assigned sites twice a year to assess compliance and improve HSSE standards.
• Perform risk assessments and propose corrective or preventive controls.
• Oversee daily fire safety and security system inspections, escalating gaps to FM and AMC vendors.
• Lead HSSE‑focused initiatives, including ISO audit preparation and emergency response coordination.
• Maintain a central legal register and ensure acquisition of all mandatory permits and licenses.
• Manage and develop the HSSE team through attendance tracking, performance reviews, and training.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Proven ability to lead HSSE programs within an automotive environment.
