HVAC Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our Engineering team and support Salayel Hospitality properties. You will ensure guest comfort by installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of HVAC equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), split units, and ventilation systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Diagnose and correct electrical and mechanical faults.
• Monitor temperature control systems to guarantee guest comfort.
• Respond promptly to HVAC complaints and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and maintenance records per hotel SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, energy‑efficiency guidelines, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering Supervisors and external contractors as needed.
• Assist during audits, inspections, and annual maintenance shutdowns.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of HVAC experience, preferably in hotels, serviced apartments, or other hospitality facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and a guest‑service mindset.
• UAE experience preferred.
