Hydraulic Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Our client is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain hydraulic equipment and systems in Dubai. The role involves working with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs and actuators, as well as supporting field service activities when required.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems.
• Repair and overhaul pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs and actuators.
• Conduct pressure and performance testing using hydraulic test benches.
• Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection, repair and service documentation.
• Supervise workshop technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain workshop tools, testing equipment and inventory, ensuring spare parts are ordered correctly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic systems used in marine, industrial or oil & gas equipment.

Required skills

• Hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Power packs and hydraulic actuators.
• Hydraulic test benches and pressure testing.
• Interpretation of hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical manuals.
