About the role
GEMS Education is seeking an ICT Cover Teacher for a two‑month maternity cover in Abu Dhabi. The role is full‑time and offers the chance to work in a world‑class school environment, delivering engaging ICT lessons to motivated students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess ICT curriculum in line with ADEK standards.
- Create an inspiring and interactive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
- Participate in school events and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Relevant ADEK‑approved qualification (attested with equivalency).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (ICT) or a subject‑related degree with a teaching certification (TLS) or Diploma in Teaching.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
- Creative, enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
- Valid visa sponsorship (own, spouse or family).
Required skills
- Strong ICT knowledge and proficiency.
