In-Vehicle Safety Operator – Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

We are looking for an In‑Vehicle Safety Operator to support the safe testing and operation of autonomous vehicles on real‑world roads. You will work directly inside the vehicle during testing, ensuring all activities follow strict safety and procedural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate inside autonomous vehicles during road testing and routine runs.
• Support hardware and software update testing and cloud‑cabin connectivity checks.
• Assist with operational testing, validation activities, and special demonstration sessions.
• Report any operational or safety concerns immediately.
• Coordinate with technical and operational teams to ensure safe completion of tests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in automotive operations, vehicle testing, fleet management or related fields (preferred).
• Strong awareness of road safety and safe driving practices.
• Comfortable working with new technology and autonomous‑vehicle systems.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).

Required skills

• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and software systems.
