Inclusion Assistant – Immediate Start

About the role

We are looking for an Inclusion Assistant to join Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi on an immediate start. The role supports pupils with additional needs to fully participate in classroom and school activities, working closely with teachers and external professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom, adapting resources to meet individual education programme (IEP) goals.
• Assist teachers with preparing differentiated materials, maintaining pupil records and monitoring progress.
• Promote independence by teaching clear strategies and supporting social, communication, academic, physical and emotional development.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists and other specialists, and attend training, meetings and school trips as required.
• Uphold health and safety standards, school policies and confidentiality while modelling punctuality and professional conduct.

Required profile

• SEN qualification – Diploma.
• Minimum two years experience supporting students with special educational needs in a school setting.
• Strong professionalism, commitment to child welfare and ability to work positively with a diverse school community.
• Good English language skills aligned with the school curriculum.
