Industrial Engineer – Continuous Improvement & Production

About the role

The Industrial Engineer – Continuous Improvement & Production will lead Lean and 5S initiatives on the shop floor, drive productivity improvements, and support day‑to‑day production operations. This role combines process optimisation, standardisation, and hands‑on production support to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and throughput.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and sustain 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices, conduct audits, and promote Kaizen, waste elimination, and visual management.
• Perform time‑and‑motion studies, establish standard cycle times, conduct line‑balancing, bottleneck analysis, and optimise manpower and capacity.
• Develop, maintain, and audit Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, One‑Point Lessons, and process flow charts; train staff on new methods.
• Act as a production reliever, managing daily production activities, machine utilisation, shift hand‑over, and coordinating with PPC, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve constraints.
