Information Technology Security Engineer

About the role

Freedom Broker Global Markets is seeking an Information Technology Security Engineer to protect and strengthen its IT infrastructure within a fast‑paced, regulated financial services environment. You will manage security tools, respond to incidents, and help embed best‑practice security across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain firewalls (NGFW), web application firewalls (WAF), antivirus and EDR solutions.
• Support and develop the SIEM system: configure log sources, correlation rules and dashboards.
• Manage privileged access management (PAM) accounts, sessions and policies.
• Handle access management in Active Directory, controlling user and service account privileges.
• Respond to L1/L2 security incidents, investigate and remediate.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and prepare remediation plans.
• Participate in infrastructure hardening projects and rollout of new security tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, guidelines and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
• Hands‑on experience with NGFW, WAF and EDR solutions.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN and routing.
• Familiarity with current threat frameworks (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK).
• English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation.
