Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Support Specialist will join Pickl’s fast‑growing hospitality brand in Dubai, providing first‑line technical assistance to restaurant and office teams. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all hardware, software and network services run smoothly during daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line help‑desk support for desktop computers, point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and other office equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Install, configure and maintain devices, including laptops, printers and POS terminals.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and maintain accurate asset inventories.
• Document support tickets, resolutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Support IT security best practices, system upgrades and deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to minimise downtime and improve overall technology performance.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and help‑desk experience, especially in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for desktop computers and POS equipment.
• Foundational knowledge of operating systems, basic networking and common business applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
• Customer‑service orientation, good time‑management and the ability to work onsite in Dubai, occasionally outside standard hours.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent).
• ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent).
• Experience with POS systems.
• Proficiency with desktop computers.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS).
• Basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with common business applications.
