Infrastructure Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Technical Coordinator to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for managing technical submissions, coordinating design documentation, and securing authority approvals to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all technical submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and engineering documentation.
• Review IFC and shop drawings to identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and constructability concerns.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain timely review and approval of technical documents.
• Engage with Abu Dhabi authorities (e.g., DMT, ADQCC, ADM, ITC, ADDC, TAQA, Etisalat, du) to secure required approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor the status of submissions and approvals to support project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate design changes and communicate approved revisions to all project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of technical submissions, approvals, and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure contracting projects within Abu Dhabi.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and approval processes.
• Proven ability to review drawings, identify clashes, and coordinate technical resolutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D (advantage).
