Inspection Senior Engineer

About the role

RINA is seeking a senior professional to lead inspection and corrosion management activities for refinery, oil & gas, and power plant assets in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on protecting asset integrity, extending service life, and ensuring operational safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive corrosion risk assessments of equipment, pipelines, and facilities.
• Develop and implement corrosion control measures, including material selection, coatings, and inhibitors.
• Establish and run corrosion monitoring programs and perform regular non‑destructive testing (NDT).
• Perform lifecycle and fitness‑for‑service evaluations to determine remaining useful life of assets.
• Analyse inspection data, identify root causes, and produce technical reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and maintenance teams to integrate corrosion management into asset design and inspection practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in corrosion engineering, inspection, or asset integrity within the oil & gas, refinery, or power generation sectors.
• Proven ability to lead technical assessments and deliver actionable recommendations.
