Insurance & Investment Specialist – Business Banking

About the role

The role is responsible for managing end‑to‑end investment and insurance sales for Business Banking at Mashreq. It involves driving growth of the investment business, cross‑selling wealth products and generating revenue through the Business Banking portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and harvest referrals for investment sales within the Business Banking team.
• Present investment product opportunities and value propositions to Business Banking clients.
• Educate and deliver investment ideas, need analysis and opportunities to Business Banking teams.
• Promote the investment business and generate FER revenue through cross‑selling wealth products.
• Support primary fulfillment of customer cross‑sell of all investment products for Business Banking.
• Drive growth of Mashreq's investment business and manage end‑to‑end sales/service.
• Collaborate with the Investment Proposition Team, Area Managers, Relationship Managers and other Business Banking members to generate sales.
• Interact with internal teams such as CCAM, DBC, RCO, TCM, TOC, Legal and Compliance.
• Conduct competitive analysis and provide feedback on market offerings.
• Achieve set revenue targets and cross‑sell objectives.

Required profile

• Strong communication, profiling, presentation and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player with capability to coach and train others.
• Proven sales expertise and solid knowledge of investment and insurance products.
• Graduate degree with at least 6 years of wealth‑management experience, preferably in the UAE.
• SCA Certified (UAE R&R and CISI Level 3).
• Familiarity with CPRA (Client Profiling and Risk Analysis) and market developments.
• Understanding of global economic scenarios and financial markets.
