Interior Fit-Out Engineer – Quality Control

About the role

Abu Alnaga Contracting is seeking a skilled Interior Fit‑Out Engineer with a strong focus on quality control to supervise interior finishing works on site. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards while maintaining the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor interior fit‑out and finishing works at the construction site.
• Verify that all works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed works for compliance with standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project teams.
• Identify non‑conformities, issue corrective actions, and maintain quality control records.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure integration with MEP and other disciplines.
• Prepare inspection requests, manage consultant/client inspections, and support NCR and punch‑list processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in building construction, interior fit‑out, or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing and fit‑out construction works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and communication skills.
