Internal Auditor

About the role

Ali & Sons Group is seeking a professional Internal Auditor to join its corporate internal audit team in Abu Dhabi. This position offers the chance to lead performance, financial, and compliance audit projects while working closely with senior management and the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits to assess compliance with management policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Document audit findings and provide actionable recommendations based on independent analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports for presentation to senior management and the Board.
• Represent Internal Audit in cross‑functional project teams and management meetings, offering insights and guidance.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional certification such as CA, CIA, CPA, or ACCA (essential); CFE, CRMA, or CISA preferred.
• 4‑5 years of experience in internal auditing, compliance, or internal controls.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of internal auditing principles and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
