Internal Controls Manager

About the role

Join Thermo King, a Trane Technologies business, as the MEA Internal Controls Manager. You will lead the regional implementation of the Global Internal Controls program, ensuring SOX compliance and robust governance across Middle East entities while supporting the company’s sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve a comprehensive internal control framework aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Drive internal‑controls strategy covering operational finance, reporting and balance‑sheet integrity, including integration of newly acquired entities.
• Conduct thorough reviews of core financial processes such as Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) and Order‑to‑Cash (O2C).
• Support Regional and Global SOX compliance leaders, provide education, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with Finance, Internal Audit and external statutory auditors to ensure effective risk‑assessment and monitoring.

Required profile

• Seasoned internal‑controls professional with deep expertise in COSO, SEC requirements, SOX compliance and U.S. GAAP.
• Proven experience in risk‑sizing internal controls and implementing continuous‑monitoring initiatives.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast‑moving environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with regional and global finance teams, internal audit and external auditors.
