International Controller

About the role

The International Controller will safeguard company assets by ensuring robust internal control procedures across multiple UNEX entities worldwide. Reporting to the CFO, the role combines financial reporting, risk mitigation, and process optimisation while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly close processes for international subsidiaries.
• Oversee local accountants and ensure compliance with local GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Manage share service agreements and inter‑company recharges.
• Coordinate external audits across all international offices.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the CFO and other stakeholders.
• Handle cash management with a focus on disbursement controls.
• Maintain and improve internal financial and operating controls.
• Produce business analysis reports and support standardisation/automation projects.
• Conduct cost‑center accounting, contribution margin calculations, and production controlling.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably with international exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification such as CPA or Chartered Accountant.
• Strong audit knowledge, analytical ability, and deadline orientation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with financial systems; SAP B1 preferred.
