Inventory Controller - Logistics

About the role

The Inventory Controller will manage and monitor stock holdings across the warehouse network, ensuring system accuracy and minimizing discrepancies. This role supports the logistics function of a leading luxury retail group, overseeing returns, transfers, and stock loss actions.

Key responsibilities

• Custodian of business inventory, responsible for overall inventory management operations.
• Optimize warehouse storage space, conduct ABC and heat‑map analyses, and implement improvements.
• Execute stock loss action plans in collaboration with the Loss Prevention team.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies identified during cycle counts or picking and resolve them promptly.
• Oversee inter‑warehouse, warehouse‑to‑store, and store‑to‑warehouse stock transfers, ensuring accurate recording.
• Manage perpetual stock‑take calendar, coordinate with managers, and ensure compliance.
• Prepare regular reports on shrinkage, expiry products, and disposal actions.

Required profile

• Graduate with solid knowledge of warehousing and inventory management.
• 3‑5 years of experience in warehousing/inventory management, preferably in an e‑commerce retail environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Oracle WMS.
