Islamic Studies Teacher – Islamic A

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Islamic Studies Teacher (Islamic A) to join our English Language Private School in Dubai for the 2026‑27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the UAE national Islamic Education curriculum to native Arabic‑speaking students in Foundation Stage 2 and Primary grades, fostering a supportive and culturally aligned learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Islamic A lessons for FS2 and Primary students in line with Ministry of Education and KHDA standards.
• Implement structured units that follow the UAE national Islamic Education curriculum.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal methods and report outcomes to academic coordinators.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging, Arabic‑rich environment for young learners.
• Collaborate with curriculum coordinators to ensure alignment with overall primary school objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic, Education or a related field that meets KHDA teacher appointment guidelines.
• Proven experience teaching Islamic A to Arab students, preferably in a UAE private school.
• Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) and familiarity with the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.
• Experience with early‑years and primary pedagogical strategies.
