Islamic Teacher for Non‑Arab Students (Cycle 1‑2)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) at its Al Falah City campus is looking for an inspiring Islamic Teacher to deliver Islamic Studies to non‑Arab students in Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5). The role supports spiritual growth and cultural understanding within an American curriculum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons aligned with the American curriculum and UAE educational standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative methods and provide feedback.
• Maintain a disciplined, respectful classroom environment that encourages both spiritual and academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Quranic Sciences or a related field from an accredited university.
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) with UAE MOFA attestation and Ministry of Education equivalency.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time experience teaching Islamic Studies to non‑Arab learners, preferably within an American‑curriculum school.
• IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
