IT Infrastructure Engineer - Wireless

About the role

The L2 Engineer, IT Infra. Solutions – Wireless will design, deploy, configure, optimise and support enterprise wireless networks for customers in the UAE. You will work on both project implementations and day‑to‑day troubleshooting, ensuring reliable wireless connectivity across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot network incidents, focusing on wireless performance.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
• Manage VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs and overall network security.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades and maintain accurate documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 or vendor teams when required.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and standards.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on network support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba or Fortinet networking devices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG.
• CCNA certification preferred; CCNP is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
