IT Specialist – Support & Infrastructure

About the role

We are expanding our IT team and need an IT Specialist to keep our technology environment running smoothly across office, operational and site locations. You will be the first point of contact for users, maintain infrastructure, and ensure security and availability of all systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other platforms.
• Monitor and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi access points) and VPN connectivity.
• Administer server environments, perform regular backups and test recovery procedures.
• Enforce IT security policies, manage antivirus, patching and data‑protection measures.
• Document IT processes, asset inventory and system configurations.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce friction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, printers, networking and user support processes.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, willingness to learn and provide excellent service.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Entry‑level candidates, fresh graduates or those with internship/academic project experience are welcome.
