IT Support Engineer – Corporate Outsource

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will deliver technical assistance to corporate users across Emarat’s head office and branch locations. The role focuses on Windows OS troubleshooting, user account management and maintaining IT service quality while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows‑based systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, access provisioning and permissions.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and collaborate with security teams.
• Handle service requests through an ITSM ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and assist with upgrades.
• Document incidents, solutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Follow ITIL best practices for incident, change and problem management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate IT support experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in shifts/on‑call.

Required skills

• Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
• Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
• Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi.
• ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
