IT Support Engineer – Desktop & Smart Hands (Backfill)

About the role

The IT Support Engineer (Backfill) will provide on‑site desktop and smart‑hand support for our Dubai office. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while ensuring compliance with warranty and security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver field support for IT infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and OS problems.
• Install, configure and repair desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Perform smart‑hand activities on networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and cabling.
• Use ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy) to log, track and close incidents.
• Conduct repeat‑call analysis, develop preventive actions and manage problem tickets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure support experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with customers and management.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and adapt to flexible schedules.
