IT Support Specialist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support professional to join our Dubai office, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance to internal users. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line help‑desk support for desktop computers, peripherals and software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system and networking problems.
• Install, configure and maintain computer systems and related equipment.
• Document incidents, resolutions and maintain accurate support records.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in an IT support or help‑desk role, preferably in a multi‑branch environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues in user‑friendly terms.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Desktop computer and peripheral hardware troubleshooting.
• Operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common office applications.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Help‑desk support tools and ticketing systems.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft or ITIL (advantageous).
