IT & Systems Administrator

About the role

Synolon Systems is seeking an IT & Systems Administrator to own and streamline all internal technology operations. This is not a traditional help‑desk position – you will be the go‑to person ensuring the team stays productive, secure, and equipped with reliable tools.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Entra ID)
• Manage employee onboarding, off‑boarding and user account provisioning
• Set up and maintain Windows and macOS devices, networking, Wi‑Fi, printers and peripherals
• Oversee SaaS subscriptions, license management and company software inventory
• Provide IT support across the business and handle identity & access management (IAM)
• Implement security best practices including MFA/2FA, password policies and access reviews
• Maintain company social media and digital accounts, ensuring secure ownership transfers
• Create and keep up‑to‑date IT documentation, SOPs and asset inventories
• Support software implementations, automations and internal system improvements
• Work with vendors to procure IT equipment and software

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Entra ID)
• Windows and macOS device setup
• Networking, Wi‑Fi, printers and peripheral management
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) and MFA/2FA implementation
• Intune or other MDM solutions (nice to have)
• Automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make (nice to have)
• Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge (nice to have)
