Junior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

Convrgnt Value Engineering LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join its Dubai office. This full‑time, on‑site position is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of UAE accounting experience who want to develop their skills in a professional, construction‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support inventory accounting and cost‑control activities.
• Assist with VAT preparation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Male candidates only; preference for candidates on a visit or cancelled visa.
