Junior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

A building contracting company in Dubai is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This position is ideal for accounting professionals with 1–2 years of experience who can contribute to daily accounting operations and are available to start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting transactions and financial operations.
• Maintain company records, filing systems, and accounting documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper record keeping.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or part‑qualified ACCA/CA.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a contracting or construction environment.
• Immediate availability to join the team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Tally accounting system.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
