Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will join the finance department to support daily financial operations and month‑end closing activities. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual who wants to build a solid foundation in accounting and finance. You will work closely with senior accountants, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate record‑keeping and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and account balances.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Generate invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Maintain supporting documentation for all financial records.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
