Junior Accountant

About the role

We are a leading real‑estate development company seeking a Junior Accountant to support the full accounting cycle for our Abu Dhabi entities. The role focuses on vendor invoice processing, payment execution, bank reconciliation and VAT compliance, ensuring accurate and transparent financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier tax invoices, ensuring correct documentation and approval before booking.
• Forward invoices to Treasury for payment scheduling and record payments against appropriate account heads.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all Abu Dhabi companies, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Calculate and report Input and Output VAT, prepare VAT summaries and maintain organized archives for audit purposes.
• Issue tax invoices to clients for retail, admin fees and other commercial activities, recording them accurately.
• Manage petty cash requests, reconcile petty cash ledgers and coordinate with HR on outstanding bills.
• Book monthly payroll accruals for staff across the group and assist in audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in accounts payable, bank reconciliation or VAT reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple entities.
