Junior BIM Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Junior BIM Engineer to support its growing portfolio of projects in Abu Dhabi. Working under the guidance of the BIM Coordinator and senior project team members, you will assist with day‑to‑day implementation of BIM processes and contribute to high‑quality digital models.

Key responsibilities

• Use Revit for three‑dimensional modelling and support model‑based workflows across projects.
• Apply basic understanding of Revit families and design libraries when developing and updating project models.
• Follow project modelling standards, naming conventions, and maintain consistency in the digital model.
• Assist with preparation of drawing views, model‑based documentation and clash detection workflows.
• Maintain awareness of ISO 19650, European and British standards, and follow Common Data Environment procedures for version control and information exchange.
• Support basic quantity take‑off, scheduling workflows and contribute to Project Information Model delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 + year of relevant experience with BIM, Revit, CAD or construction documentation.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with current versions of Revit and ability to produce 2D/3D drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Fundamental understanding of BIM workflows, modelling standards, Level of Development and naming conventions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback and develop technical and professional skills.
