Junior Clerk

About the role

The Junior Clerk will support the Medical Records department at American Hospital Dubai by ensuring that all patient documentation is accurately filed, readily accessible, and properly linked to the electronic medical record system. The role involves close coordination with clinical units to ensure that patient information is transferred efficiently and accurately. The clerk will also support the flow of records between the main hospital and its satellite clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all medical record documents in the correct physical location and ensure they are filed on time according to departmental procedures.
• Attach paper documents appropriately to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and to patient binders for easy retrieval.
• Track the location of records and documents that are delivered to clinical units, ensuring traceability.
• Deliver and collect records and documents to and from various locations throughout the facility, supporting daily operations.
• Arrange and coordinate deliveries of records to satellite clinics as required, maintaining proper documentation of transfers.
