Junior Compliance Officer

About the role

El Dorado Capital, a fast‑growing hedge fund regulated by the DFSA, is seeking a Junior Compliance Officer to support its regulatory and administrative functions. This entry‑level position will help ensure the firm meets all statutory and regulatory obligations while supporting day‑to‑day office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to internal policies and DFSA/ADGM/SEC/SEBI regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update compliance documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with regulatory filings and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
• Support onboarding of new employees and coordinate with other departments.
• Track global financial regulatory trends and provide insights to improve operations.

Required profile

• Strong educational background in finance, business or a related discipline.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AML (Anti‑Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.
• Familiarity with DFSA, ADGM, SEC and SEBI regulations.
