About the role
PeopleGene is seeking a Junior Estimation Engineer to support mechanical and water‑treatment projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing cost estimates and collaborating with engineering and procurement teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review mechanical equipment drawings and layouts for water‑treatment systems.
- Perform material and quantity take‑offs using AutoCAD/PDF documents.
- Prepare cost estimations, BOQs and support proposal preparation.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement to verify material requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial estimation documents.
- Update cost databases, supplier quotations and estimation templates.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings used in the water‑treatment industry.
