Junior Finance Controller – MENA Region

About the role

Our client is a multinational manufacturer of advanced machinery, systems and solutions. Based at their regional office in Dubai, the Junior Finance Controller will work closely with the leadership team to drive financial performance and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance across business units and product‑line margins.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Manage cost‑centre and profit‑centre accounting and monitor regional costs.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee contract management and assess financial risk.
• Mentor and train team members.

Required profile

• Qualified finance graduate with professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA).
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in an industrial or machinery‑related manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, business analysis, product profitability and project‑based financial forecasting.
• Experience working in the MENA or MEA region.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Fluency in French, Arabic or German is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
