Junior Golang Developer

About the role

Eyden is looking for a Junior Golang Developer to join its remote team working on smart‑building solutions. You will help build and maintain backend services that connect sensors, hardware devices and building management systems, providing real‑time visibility for operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain Go‑based microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing services.
• Write unit tests and support integration of new features.
• Collaborate with senior developers, product managers and hardware engineers to translate requirements into reliable software.

Required profile

• Foundational experience with Golang, especially building RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Basic knowledge of version control (Git), testing, debugging and documentation.
• Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases and data modeling for IoT‑style data.
• Interest in IoT, hardware integration or building management systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
