Junior Interior Designer

About the role

Indigo Living, a leading luxury home‑furnishing brand in the UAE, is looking for a creative and technically‑skilled Junior Interior Designer to support its design team. You will assist senior designers in turning concepts into detailed, build‑ready drawings while contributing to material selection and client presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist designers with concept development, space planning, and furniture layouts.
• Create detailed 2D drawings (plans, elevations, sections, joinery) using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and presentation packages for client meetings.
• Produce accurate FF&E schedules, specifying furniture, finishes, and quantities.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify layouts, and ensure drawings match on‑site conditions.
• Update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design revisions.
• Support selection of furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories within project concept and budget.
• Coordinate with retail, procurement, and suppliers to ensure correct ordering of products and materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing interactions.
• Familiarity with UAE market trends and furnishing styles is a plus.
